Answer to the Most Asked Question - Is Elvis Alive?

Elvis Presley Death Certificate

By August 19, 1977 all the reports and photographs of Elvis’ autopsy disappeared and have never been sighted since.  Suspiciously the contents of Elvis stomach were destroyed before they could thoroughly analyzed. The lack of tissue samples makes it impossible to determine the real cause of death by means of today’s sophisticated technology. After several attempts by the media to uncover the truth Dr. Eric Muirhead (chief pathologist) and Dr Noel Florredo (present at the autopsy) admitted Elvis’s death was die to an interaction of several drugs. Speculations about Elvis's fate surfaced as far back as 1979.

That year, the country and western singer, Waylon Jennings recorded a song with lyrics that indicated, 'Elvis, may still be alive.' One such parasite is Major Bill Smith, author of 'Memphis Mystery, Requiem for Elvis'. He claims his book is based on fact! He also claims to have known Elvis intimately enough to predict, "Elvis was so distraught having to live up to his image he decided to retreat into obscurity." But the best renown 'Elvis Death Hoax" believer of these 'living a life of anonymity' rumors have been fuelled by the notorious Gail Brewer Giorgio, author of the controversial book "Is Elvis Alive?" A cassette tape, presuming interviews with Elvis - made after his death accompanies her book!

Elvis Presley Coffin PictureThe coroner, Dr. Jerry T. Francisco, who with Dr. Eric Muirhead and Dr. Noel Florredo attended the autopsy on Presley, initial concealed the facts by attributing the cause of death to a massive heart attack. Their motive, they have since admitted, "was not to tarnish the image by a scandal of a drug habit." In recourse to the now abundant rumors, Francisco states, "if Elvis is NOT dead, he's walking around without his major organs..."

Within a six day period after Elvis death RCA (now BMG Music) sold over 8 million records. Among Elvis’ many awards and accolades were 14 Grammy nominations (3 wins) from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. A Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, which he received at age 36, and being named One of the Ten Outstanding Young Men of the Nation for 1970 by the United States Jaycees.

Today 30 years after his death, Elvis Presley's legacy has yet to reach saturation point. No singer in the history of music has eclipsed his popularity or his loyal fan-dom worldwide. It is unfortunate that the Elvis icon has became a caricature and the most commercial viable puppet to merchandisers. He single handedly changed the course of modern music, created a teenage culture and made a difference to millions of peoples lives.
